"Wheresoever you go, go with all your heart." - Confucius
We are leaving China today. In fact, I am writing this from the Business-Class Lounge. We are boarding in about fifteen minutes, and I can't believe the tour has drawn to a close.
A very valuable lesson that my parents taught me, and that has served me and many special people on this trip, is that you should do things, "wholeheartedly, even if you don't want to."
The single most beautiful thing I have found in China is the whole-heartedness that we have received. Most specifically from Zheng and Aye-yun (who I found out - her name in English is spelled Aying), but not limited to hotel staff, doctors, bell-hops, the people at TCG Nordica, our hosts and translators, or professors at the various schools.
It will be my mantra, from now on, to copy this beautiful aspect of the Chinese heart. I will go, with all my heart, wherever I shall go.
